Your data, clearly explained

Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information Frogpost handles, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Effective date: August 20, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Frogpost's website, accounts, workspaces, content-research tools, billing features, and related communications. It does not govern third-party websites or public sources that you visit through links in Frogpost.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

Your name, email address, password hash, brand and audience details, workspace invitations, prompts, drafts, feedback, support messages, and settings.

Billing information

Subscription status, plan, payment identifiers, and transaction details. Payment-card information is submitted directly to Stripe and is not stored by Frogpost.

Usage and device information

Actions taken in the service, generation counts, source diagnostics, timestamps, approximate location inferred from an IP address, browser and device information, referring pages, and error or security logs.

Information retrieved at your direction

When you add a brand website or request research, we may retrieve public pages, search suggestions, news, trends, feeds, and community posts relevant to your instructions.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, personalize, maintain, and troubleshoot Frogpost.
  • Generate ideas and outlines, retrieve relevant public research, and maintain workspace history.
  • Authenticate users, secure accounts, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits.
  • Process subscriptions and send service, billing, verification, security, and support communications.
  • Understand performance and improve features, reliability, and user experience.
  • Comply with law, resolve disputes, and protect users, Frogpost, and others.

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, comply with legal obligations, or act with your consent.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose it only as needed to:

  • Service providers: hosting, database, email-delivery, AI, website-reading, analytics, security, and customer-support providers that process information for us.
  • Stripe: to create checkout sessions, manage subscriptions, and process payments.
  • Workspace members: content and activity in a shared workspace may be visible to its owner and authorized members.
  • Public-source providers: research queries may be sent to search, news, trends, feed, community, and website services to return relevant results.
  • Legal and safety recipients: when reasonably necessary to comply with law or protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

5. Cookies and similar technology

Frogpost uses essential cookies and browser storage to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember preferences such as theme, and maintain service security. Blocking essential cookies may prevent account features from working. If we add non-essential analytics or advertising cookies, we will provide any notice or choice required by law.

6. Data retention

We retain information while your account is active and as reasonably necessary to provide the service, meet legal or accounting requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, though limited copies may remain temporarily in backups and security logs.

7. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including password hashing, access controls, secure sessions, and encrypted transport in production. No internet service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Use a unique password and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You may update core account and workspace information in Frogpost, manage subscription billing through the billing portal, and unsubscribe from optional marketing using the instructions in a message. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or obtain a copy of personal information, or withdraw consent. You may also have the right to appeal our response or complain to a privacy regulator.

Send a request to the address below. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing it. Some information may be retained where law permits or requires.

9. International processing

Frogpost and its providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different privacy laws. Where required, we use recognized safeguards for international transfers.

10. Children's privacy

Frogpost is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Frogpost, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the updated policy here, revise the effective date, and provide additional notice if a change materially affects your privacy rights.
